I want to establish one thing. Friday nights exist only for socialising. Be
certain of that. It may be an attempt to find a member of the opposite sex
who wouldn’t object to a shag; drinking yourself into a coma; or just
being out with your friends, but the social life is what you’re there
for. When you’re young, you want to do something, be somewhere, fill
your body with intoxicating substances, and drink and smoke, and at the end
of the night when you finally find the person who’s going to be your
companion for breakfast the next morning, you know you’re work is done.
So I’m told anyway.
But when your social plans deteriorate, and you find yourself stuck indoors,
in the room in which you spend severally hours a day anyway, with a group
of people who you think you know inside out - what then? Just you and them,
and some alcohol. What could happen?
Bear this in mind: getting drunk with your friends isn’t
always a great idea.
